As part of World Kidney Day, we held a kidney health campaign in nine cities. Let’s take a look at how it went.
The campaign was organized together with NEFRO-LIGA as part of the “Local Community Centers” project run by the Pyaterochka supermarket chain at the end of March.
The main goal of the campaign was to remind people how important it is to take care of their kidney health and their overall well-being. With busy schedules and work taking up so much of our time, it’s easy to overlook our own health.
A supermarket is somewhere we all visit regularly, sometimes even several times a day. So what better place to remind people about something that matters as much as their health?
Creating the magnetic game was the most challenging part of the project — and also one of the most exciting. It was the first time our company had created this type of printed material. The idea for the game came from Angelina Kolomiets, a communications specialist and member of NEFRO-LIGA.
Participants also appreciated the campaign materials, including themed sticker packs, flyers with useful information, and test strips for detecting microalbuminuria.
“Every year, we organize activities for World Kidney Day because prevention and early diagnosis can make a real difference to people’s health and quality of life. It is very important to make these opportunities as accessible as possible to people in different cities,” said Galina Goretskaya, Chair of the Board of NEFRO-LIGA.
