Our NephroMed medical center in Astrakhan has received a “Safety and Quality” certificate from Roszdravnadzor after successfully completing accreditation by the National Institute of Quality for the provision of medical care at dialysis centers.
It is the first center in the region and the first NephroMed center to receive this certificate.
Evgeny Aleksandrovich Konyukhov, our Manager for Quality Control and Safety of Medical Activities, called the achievement an important milestone in the company’s history:
“Sergey Sergeevich Krasovsky, Chief Physician of Astrakhan, and Tatyana Viktorovna Kadukova, Chief Nursing Officer at NephroMed, received this well-deserved certificate. This is a shared success for all of us and a meaningful step forward. And this will not be our last certificate — there will be more achievements to come. But already, the NephroMed group of companies has earned its place among organizations recognized for best practices in patient safety, high standards of care, and commitment to our patients.”
Tatyana Viktorovna Kadukova, Chief Nursing Officer at NephroMed, noted that receiving the certificate was made possible by the coordinated work of the entire team.
Sergey Sergeevich Krasovsky, Chief Physician of the center in Astrakhan, emphasizes that the quality and safety of medical care are the foundation of patient care. In his view, meeting these essential standards is what truly sets a high-quality medical institution apart from many others that people may have to turn to for care.
That is why, he explains, NephroMed’s management set a goal for all its centers: to achieve a standard of care that would earn public recognition and receive assessment at the federal level.
The Astrakhan center was selected as the first dialysis center where the company would introduce and test modern processes for ensuring the quality and safety of care for people receiving dialysis.
Sergey Sergeevich recalls that the preparation took more than eight months:
“We worked on the safest and most effective procedures, patient identification systems, emergency care in all situations, the digitalization of clinical processes, and much more. We introduced best practices in patient care across all areas of the dialysis center’s work. Both the center’s own staff and the company’s leading specialists were involved in preparing for the certification. It was a huge effort, and it produced an excellent result.”
The certificate was presented in Moscow at the 18th All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation, “Medicine and Quality.”
